System Efficiency Test Q6 - NO

System Efficiency Test Q6 - NO

6. Are your office computers networked? - NO

You don't actually have to have all your office computers networked, though it is generally a good recommendation.

Networking allows for the ready access to, and transfer of, information between computers, but you don't have to have networking for all of them.

Networking these days is even easier using wireless networks, but attention needs to be paid to potential security issues.

The use of transferable media such as CDs or Memory sticks also raises issues, including security. One of the problems of transferable media is making sure that you actually have the latest copy with full information on it, procedures can overcome this but they need to be stringently obeyed.
