System Efficiency Test Q4 - YES

4. Does  your office have the same Operating System on all its computers? - YES

It is always a good idea to have the same Operating System on all the computers in the office. Apart from the compatibility problems of various software you may also set up a skill problem within the office as well.

It is all very well thinking in terms of the same person, sitting at the same desk, using the same computer every day; but if something does happen where you need flexibility you may not have it, and because the person usually does use the same computer, etc, their efficiency can drop dramatically.

People are creatures of habit, if the system does not react as they expect, it throws them off completely.

If you chose to change the Operating System, think carefully. If you have to change the Operating System also think about what it means for the office.
