Mac Users Forum

This forum is intended for use by any Mac User though it is based in Harleston, Norfolk. It came about because of questions being asked of Barry Woods about assistance with Mac computers. Whilst Barry dabbles in Mac computers and tried to assist with the questions he discovered that there is effectively little support for Mac Users in the Harleston area.

It occurred to him that it would be quite useful for Mac Users to have some local point of contact between them, where questions could be raised, and answers obtained from those Mac Users with greater experience of the computers. Since it is Barry’s ethos that we should all share knowledge where possible this forum has come into existence.

Just before Christmas 2011 Barry appealed for Mac Users to contact him with a view to setting up this forum for the mutual benefit of everyone concerned. Some Users have already come forward to form a core of the members.

-          Name (or nickname if you prefer)

-          E-mail address

-          Telephone number

-          Location (e.g. Harleston)

-          Type of computer you have, (iMac, Macbook, etc)

-          Operating system ( snow leopard, Lion, etc)

-          How long you have used Macs

-          In your opinion the level at which you consider yourself (Beginner, Experienced, etc)

At this stage the forum is very much just the idea. If you have any ideas you would like to share with me, or suggestions about something which would be useful then please click on the link , and share your thoughts.

The forum members will share as much or as little contact information with each other as they wish, but having someone to turn to when problems arise is always useful, and sharing information can be fun
